Google Cloud
Export detailed billing data to BigQuery, then give Spendr read-only access to the export.
- Open Google Cloud Billing export ↗. Enable Detailed usage cost export, choose a BigQuery dataset and wait for the
gcp_billing_export_resource_v1_…table. Reuse an existing detailed export when available. - On the export dataset grant
spendr-worker@spendr-509207.iam.gserviceaccount.comBigQuery Data Viewer. Keep this permission scoped to the dataset. - On the project where Spendr will run queries, grant the same principal BigQuery Job User. The export-table project is used by default; enter a different query project only when required.
- In Spendr, enter the complete
project.dataset.gcp_billing_export_resource_v1_…table ID and choose Validate access & import. Spendr verifies the table and permissions before publishing billing data.
Security noteNo customer service account or key is required. Never grant Service Account Creator or Service Account Token Creator; Spendr needs only the two BigQuery roles above.
AFTER YOU CONNECT
Know exactly what happens after sync.
- Wait for Healthy. After you click Sync now, the connection shows its import status. A successful import changes it to Healthy.
- Verify the result. Open Overview for the total and Cost Explorer for the provider, date, and cost breakdown.
- If action is required. Return to Integrations, correct the key, permissions, or billing details shown in the error, then click Sync now again.
